I just saw the film a few hours ago, and you know what, guys? I HAVE FEELINGS, SO MANY AWESOME FEELINGS. *______* One of the most riveting 3 hours of my life! It was an epic conclusion indeed. It was so much better than I thought it would be. There was just the right amount of action, suspense, romance, and wit. The movie had its fair share of plot twists too, which was great and kept me guessing. :) EEK, I WANNA SQUEE WITH SOMEONE SO BAD!!!

Hiding the rest behind a cut because of spoilers!
I call it The Bat. And yes, Mr. Wayne, it does come in black.Collapse )
I want this movie on Blu-Ray now. I wanna make icons. Glorious icons, lol. XD

A huge thank you to absolutelybatty who introduced me to Rome! I had initially planned to watch just the Pilot last night, but totally ended up watching three straight episodes. *__* Rome is awesome and dangerously addictive. I think I find it even more addictive than, dare I say it, Game of Thrones. And that's saying a lot, 'cause I love my Game of Thrones.

Is that it? I was just beginning to enjoy myself.Collapse )

The scenes are relatively short, and the editing seems a bit choppy -- I was taken aback by how quickly one scene would cut to the next. But surprisingly, it doesn't bother me that much. I kinda like it that way, actually. The show is fast-paced and keeps you very much interested in what's to come. There weren't any dry, draggy scenes (which are common in historical dramas, I find) that made me wish for a fast-forward button, so that's a plus. :)

Thank you, Sam! Rome is my new drug. ♥ Also, I need some Rome icons. Like, now.
